119 of 365: Transubstantiation by Soror Nishi

There is an amazing and beautiful new build by Soror Nishi at UWA in Second Life.  You can read more about the backstory and inspiration for this build at Soror’s blog.
“Transubstantiation” will be up for the next month.

I hope you will enjoy my photos, which I feel don’t do justice to this build at all.  You simply have to go see it for yourself.

Tran-sub-stan-ti-a-tion
-noun
1. the changing of one substance into another.
2. Theology.  The mystical changing of the elements of the bread and wine, into the body and blood of Christ (a doctrine of the Roman Catholic church)

“It is with artworks as it is with wine:  it is much better when we do not need either one, when we stick with water, and when out of our own inner fire, the inner sweetness of our own soul, we turn the water over and over again into wine ourselves” – Friedrich Nietzsche
